Dave Ward returns home after hospitalization

Dave Ward remains hospitalized but his condition is improving
KTRK is reporting that anchor Dave Ward has been hospitalized with an infection.
The legendary abc13 anchor was given a test for COVID-19 and the results were negative.
“Dave loves Houston, and the beautiful thing is, you love Dave back,” said Dave’s wife Laura. “He never asked you for anything until two weeks ago, when he requested prayers on my behalf. Now it is my turn, hopefully with your help, to return the favor. Please join me and Dave’s Channel 13 family in praying him back to good health.”
At the end of March, Laura Ward was hospitalized with double pneumonia believed to be related to COVID-19.
Dave appeared on channel 13 to ask viewers for their prayers. Those prayers were answered and Laura is now recovering at home.
