Styling Social Justice interviews Dave and Jim

Dave Ward and Jim McGrath appeared on the Styling Social Justice Podcast with Rania Mankarious and Donae Chramosta, The Contessa (minus The Contessa this episode), to talk about their book “Good Evening, Friends: A Broadcaster Shares His Life.”

Whether talking about his time in radio to walking into ABC13 Houston KTRK fifty plus years ago, from interviewing President Barak Obama to life “behind the scenes” with #MarvinZindler – there were so many insights into the life and legacy of Houston’s Media icon. And of course from his Mrs. Laura Ward who was the glue and catalyst behind this book production to the many who have read it and commented like Neal Hammil, Shelby Hodge with PaperCity Magazine, Ken Hoffman with CultureMap and more – everyone agrees this is a must read!

Mankarious, who heads Crime Stoppers of Houston, also talked about the Dave Ward Media Excellence Award which went to abc13 KTRK investigative/consumer reporter Ted Oberg.
