“He lived with two speeds, full throttle and sleep,” Pierce recalled of his presidential grandfather.
“We visited frequently when these guys were little squirts, when dad was president,” Neil remembered. “And it was just an awesome feeling to walk, to drive through the gates, to walk into the White House, to be welcomed by your father or mother or brother and sister-in-law into that special place.”
The son and father also remember First Lady Barbara Bush and open up about what she really thought of the former president’s birthday skydiving airplane jumps!
